Sarkodie is a Ghanaian artiste and African rap God popularly known as King Sark. Sarkodie has been in rap music for over a decade and has won many Laurels to his name.
Sarkodie is a two time Black Entertainment Television Awards winner and the first to win BET Best International Flow Act. He has many other awards including Artiste of the Decade – VGMA. The Tema based rapper has been listed in the top ten richest artistes in Africa continuously by Forbes and he is the only Ghanaian artiste to make it. Sarkodie has a net worth of $7 million.

King Sark is the brand ambassador for Standard Chartered Bank’s SC Mobile, Ghana. He is the brand ambassador for the Year of Return which the Ghana government launched in 2020 and he was unveiled On 30th October 2019, at the Creative Arts Industry Forum at the National Theatre, by Barbara Oteng Gyasi, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture.
He was announced as the official brand ambassador for Samsung Electronics which was unveiled at the University of Ghana, Legon. Sarkodie later launched the Obidi Chief Headphones which led him to sign the deal with FanMilk in Ghana. The musician started The Sarkodie Foundation which is a non-profit organisation aimed at helping underprivileged children
